TRAIL ISSUES - There is logging activity on Dean Farm Road (as of August, 2025).  Watch for logging equipment while hiking along the road.  Also, parking at the intersection of Dean Farm Road and Old County Road will be restricted until the logging operation is complete. 

Also, another logging operation on Little Monadnock will begin soon (2025).  There will be logging equipment using the old Widow Gage Road.  The trail follows the old road for a short distance.  Watch for equipment on this section (end of section 3 and start of section 4).

We are having difficulties with the trail blazes on the trail section that covers Little Monadnock.  Woodpeckers continue to distroy and blazes so the blazes may be difficult to see in this seciton. 

Please report any new blowdowns and trail issues that you encounter.

The side trail to the top of Little Monadnock from Rhododendron State Park is in poor condition. (See that Trail Description.)
